The TIEMS DCEM 2011 workshop will be held in the city of Espoo, Finland on June 13-14, 2011. The venue is the DIPOLI Congress Centre, which is located in the campus area of Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. This nice seaside campus area is situated about 10 km from the downtown Helsinki and about 30 km from the Helsinki-Vantaa international airport. THE MEETING HALL is SALI 4A.
Traveling information
The Helsinki-Vantaa international airport is located in Vantaa. A taxi journey from the airport to the downtown Helsinki (Scandic Simonkenttä hotel)takes about 30 minutes and costs about 35 EUR. Taxis leave in front of the entrance hall of the airport. Another option is to take the Airport Taxi, which is a bit cheaper. Alternatively, you can travel by public transportation, which takes about 35 minutes. Take the bus 615 from the airport ("Lentoasema") to the very last stop in Helsinki City Center, namely the Railway Station Square ("Rautatientori"). Then, walk 0.3 km north to the Scandic Simonkenttä hotel. To get from Scandic Simonkenttä to Dipoli, walk to the bus terminal in Kamppi Shopping Center just behind the hotel when looking from the main entrance, and take either the bus 102 or 103. More ...
A single bus/community train ticket for one region (Helsinki, only, or Espoo, only) costs 2.50 EUR, while a regional ticket (in Finnish, "seutulippu") for two or more regions (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen) costs 4.00 EUR. The most practical way of travelling is to use Single-charge card for 1-7 days.

Registration
The workshop registration must be done by sending email to DCEM2011@sec-control.fi. Only the registered participants will be admitted to the workshop. The number of participants is limited.
There is no charge for the workshop participation. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs, accommodations, and meals.
